Gilpin Horses
A set of six etchings from 1760 of the working horse by Sawrey Gilpin was the starting point for this fabric and wallpaper. Employed by the Duke of Cumberland to paint portraits of his thoroughbreds, Gilpin’s mastery of equine art is celebrated in this design which works particularly well in corridors and cloakrooms.
