Bookbinding - October 2nd

During this hands on workshop you will learn how to make a fantastically adaptable concertina book and some pamphlet books using Lewis & Wood wallpapers. These kinds of books lend themselves to scrapbooks, photo albums or notebooks. Katherine is the resident bookbinder at the New Brewery Arts Centre in Cirencester. All materials will be provided. more

Curtain Making - September 25th

With 15 years experience running her own curtain making business Sally's course will involve making a traditionally hand lined, tape headed curtain, with mitered corners. Open to complete beginners or those looking to learn more advanced techniques, this workshop will give you the confidence to make a set of curtains from scratch. Sally will provide lining, and fabrics will be available to buy on the day from the Lewis & Wood shop or bring your own. We will have sewing machines available but please feel free to bring your own. more

Quiltmaking - September 11th

Learn to make a quilt in a day using mass production secrets under the guidance of star quilt maker Alison Campbell-Black. Alison who has worked with Ralph Lauren in New York and renowned textile artist Kaffe Fassett, also teaches at Bath University and the American Museum in Bath. Feel free to bring your own truck of large remnants or see what you can buy from the lovely remnant collection in the Lewis & Wood shop on the day. more
