Gilpin

This design has been created by using a set of six etchings of the working horse drawn by Sawrey Gilpin in 1760. He trained under Samuel Scott, the marine artist, but turned early in his career to painting horses, working exclusively around Newmarket and in particular for Duke of Cumberland, who employed him, to make 'portraits' of his celebrated racers.

Wallpaper and fabric available in Smoke, Tan, Black and Saddling Brown.
